C. Construction activities shall be conducted in a manner such that dust emissions are <br /> minimized. <br /> Timing: Inclusion of a note on Improvement Plans approved by CDD and MHCSD prior to <br /> approval of Final Maps. <br /> 22. Residential Emissions: Construction plans for residential dwellings shall incorporate the <br /> following items: <br /> • Natural gas lines outlets shall be provided to backyards to encourage usage of natural <br /> gas barbecues. <br /> • 220 volt electrical outlets for recharging electric automobiles shall be provided in each <br /> garage. <br /> • Low nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitting and/or high efficiency water heaters shall be required <br /> for all dwelling units. <br /> • No wood burning fire places, unless otherwise provided by the SJVAPCD. If fireplaces <br /> are designed to be natural gas heating appliances of a zero clearance design, there is no <br /> limitation on the number of fireplaces per unit. <br /> Timing: prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> CULTURAL RESOURCES <br /> 23. Unknown Pre-Historic/Historic-Period Resources: If, during the course of any grading <br /> activity or construction, subsurface concentrations of prehistoric or historic-period materials <br /> are encountered, the San Joaquin County Community Development Department(SJCCDD) <br /> shall be contacted immediately. All work in the vicinity of the find shall be shall be halted until <br /> an archaeologist can evaluate the materials and make recommendations for further action. <br /> Timing:At the time of the find until permission to proceed is granted by the SJCCDD. <br /> 24. Unknown Human Remains: The applicant shall comply with the County's Development Title <br /> (Chapter 9-1053M) regarding the uncovering of human remains or of a human prehistoric <br /> burial site during the course of any grading or construction. If human remains are <br /> encountered, all work shall halt in the vicinity and the County Coroner shall be notified <br /> immediately. At the same time, a qualified archaeologist shall be contacted to evaluate the <br /> finds. If Human burials are found to be of Native American origin, steps shall be taken pursuant <br /> to Section 15064.5(e)of the Guidelines for California Environmental Quality Act. <br /> Timing: At the time of the find until permission to proceed is granted by the SJCCDD. <br /> 5 <br />
