Recommendations <br /> Action <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1. Deny the appeal of the Development Services Division's approval of Site Approval Application No. <br /> SA-95-20; <br /> 2. Approve the Negative Declaration; and <br /> 3. Add Condition of Approval No. 1.k., as follows, to the adopted Conditions of Approval for Site <br /> Approval Application No. SA-95-20 based on the Findings and subject to the Conditions of <br /> Approval adopted by staff and included in the staff report: <br /> 1.k. OUTDOOR STORAGE. Outdoor storage may only be permitted subject to compliance <br /> with the provisions of Section 9-1022.4(e) of the Development Tale. Details shall be <br /> included on the Site Plan. <br /> Findings <br /> 1. Consistency. The proposed use is consistent with the goals, policies, standards, and maps of <br /> the General Plan and any applicable Specific Plan because the use proposed in application SA- <br /> 95-20 is consistent with the A/G designation of the General Plan, which in turn is permitted in the <br /> AG-40 zone. <br /> 2. Improvements. Adequate utilities, roadway improvements,sanitation,water supply, drainage,and <br /> other necessary facilities have been provided, and the proposed improvements are property <br /> related to existing and proposed roadways because all utilities, improvements, and other facilities <br /> are existing or will be provided as reflected in the approved site and/or improvement plan. <br /> 3. Site Suitability. The site is physically suitable for the type of development and for the intensity of <br /> development because the property is adequate in size to accommodate provisions of the <br /> Development Title. <br /> 4. Issuance Not Detrimental. Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental to the public <br /> health, safety, or welfare or be injurious to the property or improvements of adjacent properties <br /> because the proposed use is compatible with the surrounding area and will not have an adverse <br /> effect on nearby properties. <br /> 5. Compatibility.
