(Soil description gleaned from the USDA Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, 1992.) <br /> This somewhat poorly drained, nearly level soils is in basins. It is deep to a hardpan. It formed in <br /> L- alluvium derived from mixed rock sources. Mottles in profile indicate a somewhat poorly drained <br /> soil; however, drainage has been improved by Ievees and reclamation projects. . . Typically, the <br /> surface layer is dark grey clay about 29 inches thick. The upper 8 inches of subsoil is also dark grey <br /> clay. . Permeability is slow in the Stockton soil. Available water capacity is moderate. The shrink- <br /> swell potential is high. <br /> IV. REVIEW OF REGIONAL AND LOCAL REGULATORY AGENCY <br /> RECORDS <br /> L ' <br /> 1. Regional Water Qualfty Control Board <br /> �. Our office reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks List (LUST) and the Spills, Leaks, <br /> Investigations,and Cleanups List(SLIC)on file with the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(RWQCB) in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note <br /> A— the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property <br /> or within a one-half('/z) mile radius of the subject property. <br /> According to the RWQCB Leaking Underground Storage Tank Information System list dated <br /> September 1999,the RWQCB noted no unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the <br /> environment on the subject property at that time. The RWQCB notes that there are no (0) sites on <br /> the Leaking Underground Storage Tank Information System list which are within the specified <br /> search radius where an unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous substance has occurred. <br /> 6- According to the RWQCB SLIC/DOD/DOE (Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanup <br /> Sites/Federal Department of Defense Sites/Federal Department of Energy Sites) list dated 3rd quarter <br /> 1999, the subject property did not appear on that list at that time. The RWQCB notes no (0) sites <br /> on the SLIC/DOD/DOE list which are within the specified search radius. <br /> �. 5 <br />
