Prior to approval of building construction permit,applicant shall incorporate the following into <br /> construction documents: <br /> a. New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers and addressing scheme <br /> that is placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting <br /> the property. <br /> b. Fire sprinklers and fire alarms shall be installed,in accordance with 2016 CFC Chapter 9, <br /> NFPA 13&NFPA 72. These items may be listed as a deferred submittal on the <br /> construction documents,and shall be submitted separately from the building construction <br /> submittal. <br /> c. Fire Department Connection(FDC)shall be located towards the front of the building or at <br /> the fire pump,based on the conversation with Fire Marshal Ray,May 2019. Provide a <br /> hydrant with 100'of FDC. <br /> d. Provide civil drawings demonstrating the sprinkler system and the hydrant loop are <br /> separated from each other to prevent pressurization of hydrants during firefighting <br /> operations. <br /> e. Water tanks shall be installed in accordance with 2016 California Fire Code,NFPA 22, <br /> NFPA 24.Provide calculations which demonstrates a minimum amount of fire suppression <br /> water supply per 2016 NFPA 1142.This can be listed as a deferred submittal on the <br /> construction documents,and shall be submitted separately from the building construction <br /> submittal. <br /> f. Provide access in accordance with 2016 CFC Section 503 and San Joaquin County's Fire <br /> Apparatus Access Road Standards. <br /> g. Electric gates shall be equipped with traffic preempting optical signal receivers compatible <br /> with the emitters used by the Fire Department,which will activate the gates and override <br /> South San Joaquin Comity Fire Authority ■■. <br />
