• 220-volt electrical outlets for recharging electric automobiles shall be provided in each garage. Electrical <br /> outlets shall be located on the outside of single-family homes to accommodate electric lawn-maintenance <br /> equipment and electric barbecues. _ <br /> Low nitrogen oxide(NOx) emitting and/or high efficiency water heaters shall be required for all dwelling <br /> units. <br /> • Each single-family residence shall have no more than one fireplace. If fireplaces are designed to be <br /> natural gas heating appliances of a zero-clearance design, there is no limitation on the number of <br /> fireplaces per unit. <br /> Final Supplemental EIR for Delta College Center at Mountain House 2002 (Mitigation Measures) <br /> • Mitigation Measure 4.13-1(a). The San Joaquin Delta College District(SJDCCD) shall implement <br /> measures that would reduce vehicle trips, vehicle miles traveled, and area source emissions before Phase 1 <br /> operations. The SJDCCD shall implement the following TDM measures, as adopted in a TDM and Transit — <br /> Plan by the Mountain House Community Services District: <br /> • Appointment of a designated TDM Coordinator; <br /> • Establishment of a Transportation Management Association at the College by the time 3,000 students are <br /> enrolled; <br /> • Annual monitoring of TDM measures to identify reduction in private automobile use; <br /> • Provision of TDM information to all students and employees,as provided by the TDM Coordinator; <br /> • Provision of bicycle storage racks at all college buildings; <br /> • Provision of bus turnouts on campus at select locations; and <br /> • Provision of preferential parking for car/vanpools on the campus. <br /> • Mitigation Measure 4.13-1(b). Delta College shall explore and implement a shuttle or transit service <br /> between the campus and the City of Tracy, if determined feasible. <br /> • Mitigation Measure 4.13-1(c). The SJDCCD shall provide facilities to support state-of-the-art energy and <br /> fuel conserving vehicles with zero to minimal emissions. <br /> • Mitigation Measure 4.13-2. The SJDCCD shall implement enhanced control measures to reduce air <br /> pollutant emissions from construction activities, in addition to those required as part of Regulation VIII of the <br /> SJVAPCD. These measures shall include: _ <br /> • Limiting traffic speeds on unpaved roads to 15 mph(provide signage); <br /> • Installing erosion-control measures to prevent silt runoff to public roadways from sites with a slope <br /> greater than 1%; and <br /> • Preventing dust clouds from leaving the site through the following measures: (1)installing windbreaks at <br /> the windward sides, (2) reducing or limiting the size of active areas, or(3) suspending grading activities <br /> and vehicle travel(on unpaved areas)until wind speeds subside. <br /> EDAW College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan III Draft EIR — <br /> Air Quality 4.12-18 San Joaquin County <br />
