The Stockton=San <br /> Joaquin County Public Library(SSJCPL) system provides public library services to the <br /> Mountain House Community. The closest branch library to the project site`is located in the <br /> City of Tracy at 20 East Eaton Avenue. This Tracy branch library has 16 900 square feet of ! <br /> space. <br /> Childcare Facilities <br /> LESD has contracted with a private provider for childcare services. The facility is housed in <br /> a modular building at Wicklund Elementary School. LESD anticipates that a second <br /> childcare center will be provided at the Neighborhood G elementary school when it is built s <br /> (Machado Checklist, 2006). ? <br /> SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS IDENTIFIED IN 2005 SPIIIEIR ` <br /> Seven potential Impacts involving additional demand for public parkland, K-8 and high <br /> schools, college services, fire protection services, law-enforcement services, and.public <br /> library facilities, were identified in the 2005 SPIIIEIR. All seven were found to be less than <br /> significant. <br /> MITIGATION MEASURES IDENTIFIED 1N 2005 SPIIIEIR <br /> Since all the potential impacts were found to be less than significant, no mitigation measures <br /> were identified in the 2005 SPIIIEIR. <br /> DISCUSSION REGARDING PROPOSED PROJECT I <br /> a) Would the project result in substantial adverse physical impacts associated with the <br /> provision of new or physically altered governmental facilities, need for new or <br /> physically altered governmental facilities, the construction of which could cause <br /> significant environmental impacts, in order to maintain acceptable service ratios, <br /> response times or other performance objectives for any of the public services: <br /> Fire protection? <br /> The proposed project would generate an incremental demand for additional fire protection <br /> staff and facilities. The Mountain House Community Services District(MHCSD) Fire <br /> Protection Plan outlines the planned provision of fire protection services for the Mountain <br /> House Community, including providing for phased increases in staffing and equipment as <br /> development occurs in the MHMP area. MHCSD has agreements with the Tracy Rural Fire <br /> Protection District regarding funding for additional staffing and facilities as population <br /> 4-64 <br />
