L <br /> ` February 18,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04145A <br /> L2.2 Aerial Photographs <br /> Aerial photographs depicting the subjectproperty dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed <br /> L at the SanJoaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton,California. One additional photo,dated 1993, <br /> was obtained from Microsoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1937 photo, the subject property appears to be a portion of a larger agricultural field. <br /> 6. Greenwood and Kasson Roads are apparent. A wetland area can be seen along the southeast property <br /> line. <br /> LIn the 1952 photo, field roads or irrigation canals now define the subject property on all sides. A field <br /> road crosses the southern portion of the property. An object is apparent at the current location of the <br /> L water well. The wetland area on the subject property is no longer apparent,but a large wetland area can <br /> be seen to the northwest of the property. A gas well can be seen on the adjacent property to the west. <br /> L In the 1963 photo, the field road crossing the subject property appears more defined than in the <br /> previous photo. An object which may be a gas well is located near the center of the northeast property <br /> line. New gas wells can be seen to the east and west of the property. <br /> L In the 1975 photo,the object which may be a gas well and the well to the west of the property are no <br /> longer apparent. Two or three dark objects are apparent along the field road that crosses the property. <br /> L In the 1983 photo, a flat area can be seen at the field road that crosses the property. An agricultural <br /> pond can be seen at the southwest comer of the property. A new field road crosses near the center of <br /> the property. The gas well to the west is no longer apparent. <br /> b. <br /> In the 1993 photo,a new residence can be seen to the east of the subject property. The gas well to the <br /> east is no longer apparent. <br /> L <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report Our ability to interpret the land uses is limited <br /> by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> L <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> L The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, Vemalis, <br /> California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1991 was available at NOA and through <br /> LMicrosoft Terraserver. <br /> In the 1991 map,field roads define the northwest,southwest,and northeast boundaries of the subject <br /> property. A well is depicted at the northwest comer of the property. The majority of the property is <br /> �. depicted at 55 feet above mean sea level, though the southernmost portion is shown to be at a lower <br /> elevation. A seasonal wet area is depicted in the flat area north of the field road identified in the aerial <br /> photos.
