Rubino/Schmidt Property Page 4 of 13
Our Project Number: E07215A
January 10, 2008
2.3 USGS Topographic Maps
The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey Lodi
South, California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1976, was obtained from
Microsoft Terraserver.
In the 1976 map, the subject property is depicted as an open field. The property is depicted
.. approximately 15 to 20 feet above mean sea level. Surrounding properties are depicted as
open fields with scattered buildings.
This map is included in Appendix C of this report.
2.4 Interviews
.. An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject
property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental
Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Jim Freitas of Associated
Engineering, Inc., on December 14, 2007. A copy of the responses has been included in this
report as Appendix D.
In responses to Part 1 of the questionnaire, Mr. Freitas indicated that title reports or previous
environmental reports have been prepared for the property. A copy of a Phase I ESA prepared
by LFR Inc. dated November 21, 2006 was provided by the client. The document was reviewed
as part of the Surface Subsurface Contamination Report. Mr. Freitas indicated that he was not
aware of any environmental liens or land use limitations recorded against the property. Mr.
Freitas indicated that the SSCR was requested for the property to satisfy San Joaquin County
requirements.
Part 2 of the questionnaire was completed by Associated Engineering due to the absence of the
property owner. In responses to Part 2 of the questionnaire, Associated Engineering indicated
the property was owned by the Frank Rubino Revocable Trust/Schmidt Family Revocable Trust.
The questionnaire also indicated the property is currently used for industrial/commercial
` warehouses and that there is an electrical transformer or capacitor on the property. Water and
waste water disposal is provided to the property by public water and sewer systems.
3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION
3.1 Research Methods
NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing
the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property
boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine
address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by
address are then searched for these address ranges.
V 902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 02007 Nei!0.Anderson&Associates,Inc.
