Rubino/Schmidt Property Page 6 of 13 Our Project Number: E07215A January 10, 2008 3.1.3 San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) websitelo was searched on December 17, 2007 in an attempt to determine whether a hazardous materials inventory is on file for the subject property. One record was found for Rick's Auto Repair, 678 W. Grider Way, J Stockton, 95210. OES listed this site as "restricted access." According to Michelle Halliwellll of the OES department, this address had a Hazardous Materials Management Plan (HMMP). In an effort to obtain a copy of the plan for this report, a representative from Neil 0. Anderson & Associates (NOA) contacted Rick's Auto Repair directly and spoke with business owner Tony Potter 12 who provided a copy of the HMMP. In a telephone conversation 13 regarding the HMMP, Mr. Potter indicated that Rick's Auto Repair uses Chevron motor oil, antifreeze, aerosol cans and batteries. He also indicated that the motor oil is contained in a double containment system as per EPA requirements. Mr. Potter stated that the company Evergreen disposes of the waste oil, coolant and used oil filters. He also indicated that the business uses an electric lift and does not use a hydraulic lift or have an underground storage tank. Mr. Potter was not aware of any leaks, spills or chemical releases or any other environmental concerns. A copy of the HMMP has been included in Appendix E of this report. 3.1.4 San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner ) The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office14 was contacted regarding use of agricultural chemicals on the subject property. According to a Hazel Gallego's of that office, no records were found for the subject property. 3.1.5 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System One domestic well is located on the subject property. This well is located near the former structure on the southwest side of the property. The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on December 14, 2007 in an effort to obtain copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property.
