None observed <br /> Electric or hydraulic equipment One pad mounted transformer located west of the 678 Grider <br /> likely to contain polychlorinated Way warehouse was observed on the property. <br /> L biphenyls (PCBs)? <br /> Storage tanks? None observed <br /> Drums or other containers? Two fifty five gallon drums were observed behind Rick's Auto <br /> Repair Facility on the west side of the building. Two additional <br /> fifty five gallon drums were also observed on the same side of <br /> the building. <br /> r Exterior On-Site Observations <br /> Pits, Ponds, Lagoons? None observed <br /> Stained soil or pavement? None observed <br /> Solid waste? Approximately thirty-five tires were observed behind Rick's Auto <br /> Repair Facility on the west side of the building (See Appendix B, <br /> Figure 12). <br /> Waste water discharge? None observed <br /> Wells or septic systems? One well was observed near the southwest corner of the <br /> property. No oil was observed around the well head. <br /> Vicinity Observations <br /> Topography of property and Hills, a storm drain basin, seasonal grasses, native trees and <br /> vicinity several piles of fill soil make up the topography of the property. <br /> L Property to the southeast is a relatively flat open field, property <br /> to the northeast has been developed residential, property to the <br /> west is open field under construction. Property to the south is a <br /> I relatively flat parcel with typical residential landscaping. <br /> L <br /> Current use of adjoining The adjacent property to the north and northeast is used for <br /> properties single residential housing developments. Adjacent property to <br /> the southwest is used commercially. Land to the west is under <br /> construction for the new Podesta Elementary School. A <br /> residence is located on the property to the south. Immediately <br /> south of the property is a communication tower labeled with a <br /> L FCC warning (see Appendix B, Figure 17). A municipal utility <br /> yard is located to the southwest of the property. The building in <br /> the yard is posted with a chlorine gas danger sign. <br /> 6. Evidence of past uses?
