Rubino/Schmidt Property Page 10 of 13
Our Project Number: E07215A
January 10, 2008
3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination
No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified 3,5
from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following:
A communication tower located immediately south of the property is posted with a
warning indicating radio frequency fields may exceed FCC exposure limits.
4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES
Agricultural chemical residues may remain on the property from past agricultural use. No N )
evidence was found, however, to indicate that the chemicals were applied inappropriately.
Rick's Auto Repair facility is located on the property. However, there is no evidence of L i)
contamination to the property caused by this facility.
The adjacent property to the west located at 9925 Lower Sacramento Road was found on the
LOP/Non-LOP Sites list and tested positively for lead and chlordane however, based upon the
location and removal of the impacted soil; it does not appear that this site will impact the L
subject property.
Alpine Packing Co. located at 9900 Lower Sacramento Road, Stockton, CA 95210 was found on
the LUST database within one-quarter mile of the subject property. However, based on the
listing as case closed on Geotracker, it does not appear that this site will impact the subject
property.
No staining was observed in the vicinity of the transformer. It is not anticipated to impact the L( 1)
subject property at this time.
The communication tower located south of the property lists guidelines for working within a
radio frequency environment. However, there is no evidence to suggest that the radio
frequencies emitted by the tower will impact the subject property.
If water wells are not properly operated and maintained, they can serve as contamination
conduits to groundwater. In this case, there is no evidence to suggest that wells may be
contaminant pathways on the subject property or vicinity.
Concrete pipe as seen near the well, may be present on the subject property from past
agricultural irrigation practices. Agricultural concrete pipes often contain asbestos.
Because a structure was formerly located near the southwest portion of the subject property, it
is possible that additional underground infrastructure may exist in that location including septic
systems and irrigation piping. The pipes observed near the center of the subject property may
also indicate underground infrastructure.
902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240-209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 ©1007 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc.
