LOctber 13, 2004 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04122A <br /> 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from past uses of the site,except for the following. <br /> • Because of the age of the structures on the subject property,it is possible that lead-based paints <br /> j and/or asbestos-containing materials were used in their construction. <br /> L <br /> • The subject property was once used for agriculture, and traces of agricultural chemicals may <br /> remain in the soil. <br /> ` 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> LNo above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> LSurface debris is scattered across the site, most prominently in the rear yard of 3740 East <br /> Guernsey. Inoperable vehicles, a boat, several tires, drums, automotive chemical containers, (3.3) <br /> wood, metal, fill soil, and household trash were observed. l <br /> L <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Potential Sources of Contamination <br /> LNo above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> identified from past uses of surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> LThree open leaking underground storage tank cases were identified within one-quarter mile of <br /> the subject property. <br /> L Review of incident records revealed a history of accidents on Highway 99 where vehicles rolled <br /> into Mormon Slough, discharging contaminants into the creek bed. <br /> L3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> L identified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> • Mormon Slough is also a popular dumping ground for unwanted debris.
