B. & Sons, Inc.
Dear Mr. Luoma:
I just met with Mr. James `Buzz" Spurrier of TGS Transportation, Inc. regarding
the above application. During that meeting, we discussed the City's concerns about
traffic impacts to the Roth Road and Harlan Road intersection and the Roth Road/1-
5 interchange. Mr. Spurrier asked if we had a traffic fee similar to the County's and
we acknowledged that we did. After some discussion, Mr. Spurrier indicated his
willingness to pay that portion of our traffic fee that is directly related to the Roth
Road interchange. This fee amounts to $24/average daily trip end.
IF the County is willing to condition approval of SA-98-72 upon payment of
$24/average daily trip end, the City of Lathrop will withdraw its objections to the
approval of this application. This fee will adequately mitigate the impacts from the
proposed development. In talking with Mr. Spurrier, he showed us the County
Public Works' condition for traffic mitigation and indicated that he had to provide
information to the County with respect to the number of daily trip ends. We agreed
that we would use the same traffic generation rate as the County.
Please keep me informed of the progress of this application.
Sincerely,
Pamela R.
