(3) All portions of any sign shall be set back a minimum of five (5) feet from any future <br /> right-of-way line, including any comer cut-off (snipe). (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1710.2(g]) <br /> J_ FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of: <br /> A. Appendix 111-A of the Uniform Fire Code (public water mains). <br /> B. NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code (static water supply). <br /> (2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the <br /> California Building Code and the California Electrical Code (if required by code). <br /> (3) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and water- <br /> flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with 904.3.1 of the California Fire <br /> Code. <br /> (4) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (5) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 Key Boxes: A <br /> knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (6) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume <br /> 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (7) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to <br /> life or property.
