5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Pro a Owners <br /> Ray Alger was interviewed in person during the site visit. He indicated that he has <br /> owned the property nine years; it was pasture land prior to the construction of the cattle <br /> facility. A service company performs all chemical application to the agricultural land. <br /> Mr. Alger indicated that the facility is being regulated by the Regional Water-Quality _ <br /> oMrol Board. He stated that no..'nimais are buried on site; carcassesre picked u� <br /> daily b -an utside contractor. Mr. Alger was not aware of any dumping or other <br /> environmental concerns on the Site or in the vicinity. <br /> 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS <br /> 6.1 Environmental Health Department Records <br /> The EHD was contacted regarding the Site address of 31005 East Dodds Road. <br /> Records were reviewed at the EHD on June 4, 2010. The only information on file <br /> related to a previous lot line adjustment reducing the number of parcels on the Site from <br /> 15 to two. According to Evette Johnson of the EHD, no records are on file for the <br /> address of 11300 Henry Road (personal communication, June 23, 2010). <br /> Live Oak requested copies of the EHD well and septic permit files for the Site address. <br /> The following five permits were identified: <br /> • March 2002 permit for a new domestic well at the western residence. <br /> • October 2002 permit for a new septic system at the milk processing barn. <br /> • April 2004 permit for a new septic system at the eastern residence. <br /> • April 2004 permit for a new septic system at the western residence. r <br /> • September 2004 permit for a new domestic well at the eastern residence. <br /> • February 2005 permit for new pump at the eastern residence's domestic well. <br /> These permits have been included in Appendix 4 <br /> 7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH <br /> 7.1 EPA Databases <br /> The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated sites, <br /> through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the . <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
