Contamination Report A Surface/subsurface contamination report dated November 15, 2004 was submitted to the Environmental Health Department by Neil O. Anderson and Associates. The report states that the Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated June 24, 2004, was reviewed at the EHD [Environmental Health Department] on October 11, 2004, no sites within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on this list. (page 4) However, Neil O. Anderson and Associates completed a new Phase I Environmental Site Assessment dated December 23, 2005. This study concludes that a 500-gallon underground storage tank for regular gasoline was reportedly located southwest of the barn on the subject property from 1957 until its removal approximately five years ago. The tank was removed without a permit; contamination may exist in its former vicinity. The report also states that hexavalent chromium, endosulfan, and MCPA may be present on the property. The Environmental Health Department will need to review the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment to determine the need for site mitigation. Any mitigation measures identified by the Environmental Health Department will be incorporated into the Conditions of Approval. The application has been tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting on October 19, 2006. The Community Development Department has reviewed the project and responses from other agencies and, providing any outstanding issues have been resolved, will be recommending that the Planning Commission approve Major Subdivision application No. PA-0500543 subject to the following conditions of approval: Major Subdivision Application No. PA-0500543 was approved by the Planning Commission on .
