CITY OF STOCKTON
Aa#
DEPARTMENT OF MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
2500 NAVY OFIIVE
STOCKfON.CA 9520E-1 1 91
[209)937-8750
FAX(209)937-6706
January 26, 2001
Mr. Tae W. Oh
P.O. Box 6938
Stockton, CA 95206
WILL SERVE REQUEST -- APN 159-100-04 (5113 AND 5143 MAIN STREET)
The City of Stockton has reviewed your Will Serve Request letter dated
December 14, 2000 and offers the following comments.
The City of Stockton can conditionally accommodate sanitary sewer service to
the subject property using Collection System No. 6. At present, there is capacity
for 59 Dwelling Unit Equivalents in Collection System #6 at this location. This
capacity is available on a first come -first serve basis and will be allocated when
building permits are issued.
The closest point of connection into System #6 is at the intersection of Main and
Oro Streets. it will be the developer's responsibility to facilitate conveyance of
sewer flows to that point.
Based on our review, there are two options available for conveying flows to the
intersection of Main and Oro.
Option 1
This option includes conveying flows to System #6 using the existing 12-inch
sanitary sewer line in Main Street, between Walker Lane and Oro. This 12-inch
line is a part of Sanitary System #4, the capacity of which is administered by San
Joaquin County. At Oro, a diversion structure would need to be designed and
constructed by the developer to allow an equivalent amount of flow to be diverted
into Sanitary System #6.
This option would provide for a permanent connection to, and usage of, a potion
of System #4. As such, the County must provide approval for the use of that
portion of the system.
www.stocktongov.com
"STOCKTON...CALIFORNIA'S SUNRISE SEAPORT"
