A <br /> pump house was located to the south of this house, and a pool was located to <br /> the west. The house and surroundings appeared clean and well-maintained. <br /> Much of the western half of the Site was dedicated to storage of potted nursery <br /> plants; these were watered by sprinkler. At the northwest corner of the Site, a <br /> pile of plastic plant pots and a pile of potting soil were noted. Near the center of <br /> the plant storage area, a pile of stakes and a pile of hose were observed. Two <br /> temporary greenhouses were noted on the far western side of the Site. Two <br /> brush piles were observed to the south of the greenhouses. <br /> The southern quarter of the Site was an almond orchard. <br /> To the north of the Site was open field. To the east and west were orchards. To <br /> the south were a house, a horse pasture, and open land with a building pad. <br /> 5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> • 5.1 Interview with Client <br /> Annette Roddan was interviewed by telephone on July 13, 2016. She indicated <br /> that she, her husband Todd Roddan, and his mother Margaret Roddan own the <br /> Site; they have owned it since approximately 1998. At the time they purchased <br /> it, the land was 30-year old almond orchard, she stated. <br /> Ms. Roddan indicated that one house was built in 1999, the second in 2001, and <br /> the nursery in 2008. All wells and septic systems on the Site were installed <br /> during their ownership, she said. <br /> Ms. Roddan was not aware of any fuel tanks, chemical storage, automotive <br /> maintenance, buried trash, dumping, or other environmental issues affecting the <br /> Site now or in the past. <br /> • <br /> LOGE 1614 4 <br />
