The surrounding <br /> properties appear similar to that shown in the 1982 aerial photograph except that housing developments <br /> are visible to the west and to the east(2001). <br /> In summary,review of the aerial photographs revealed no features on the subject property or adjacent <br /> properties that are of significant environmental concern except for long-term use of the subject property <br /> for agricultural purposes,with the potential of subsurface contamination bypesticides and fertilizers,and <br /> the railroad right-of-way extending along the western boundary of the property, with the potential of <br /> subsurface contamination from spilled hydrocarbons along the tracks.Aerial photographs of the subject <br /> area preceding 1957 and subsequent to 2001 were not readily available for review.Representative aerial <br /> photographs are included in Appendix B; AGE does not have a contract to provide copies of the <br /> MapQuest G1obeExplorer photograph. <br /> 3.2. BUILDING DEPARTMENT/ASSESSOR'S OFFICE <br /> The San Joaquin County Assessor's Office (SJCAO)maintains records for property assessment;these <br /> records contain information concerning the construction and demolition of buildings and structures, <br /> including city building permits issued for assessable improvements. Ms. Susan Gilbeau, one of the <br /> property owners, signed the file review access form; a copy of the form is provided in Appendix C. <br /> A review of SJCAO records found the following information;the base year for all properties was 1975. <br /> Parcel 01: The oldest structures were circa approximately 1990;buildings listed were three residences, <br /> miscellaneous buildings,nine barns,arena,office,two tackrooms,one shop,stalls and a drinking water ((( <br /> pump.Records noted that a variance was issued for setback when the paddocks and arena were replaced. ' <br /> Parcel 02, 05 and 06: Listed as agricultural land, financial information only. <br /> None of the Assessor's Office records reviewed raise environmental concern. <br /> 3.3.
