Since the surrounding fields have the
majority of the topsoil that is to be replaced over the sandy excavated
area's it would depend on how soon the crops were harvested so the
reclamation could begin. Depending upon the approval from the State
of California the reclamation of'h of field#4 and the complete leveling
of field #2 would begin around the middle or end of October of this year
and be completed within a week to ten days.
Since all of the other areas that are not being excavated at this time are
in continual agricultural use with com, it is generally harvested in
late September or by mid October and that is when in each year more
reclaiming and leveling will be done on a yearly basis and in that way
the least amount of ground is lost from agricultural use.
