Volumes of Mound System construction material: <br /> Peat Material: 1,950 cu ft; 72 cu yds <br /> Washed Filter Sand: 7,700 cu ft; 287 cu yds <br /> Washed Drain Rock: 1,125 cu ft; 42 cu yds <br /> Mound Cap Soil: 5,850 cu ft; 217 cu yds <br /> Filter Fabric: 4,750 sq ft <br /> 5. Center-feed manifold with laterals connected by cross-construction. <br /> Four 1" dia., Sch. 40 PVC laterals from manifold to the north and four laterals to the south, per <br /> plan drawings. Each lateral to be 50 ft long. <br /> 6. Electrical 90' "turn-up"sweeps at the distal ends of each lateral to allow bottle-brush type <br /> cleaner to clean entire length of lateral to manifold. Install 90' electrical sweep at east end of <br /> manifold for manifold cleaning. Each turn-up sweep to have threaded caps on the ends. <br /> 7. Install each of the turn-up sweeps in Christy boxes with the box lids at final grade. <br /> 8. Install orifice shield on each of the 1/8 inch dia. orifices, spaced five ft apart along each lateral. <br /> 9. Mound side slopes to be -3:1 <br /> 10.
