Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usa e
i
Existing Septic System
Three septic systems are currently located on
he Site. One system 4 connected to
E each of the mobile homes. A third system, located under the central of the three
trailers, is connected to two of the trailers as well as to the southern shop by way of a
line that runs under the field road.
Proposed Septic System
No new septic systems are proposed at this time. Any future construction would require
new septic systems.
On-Site Septic Permit History
Two permits for septic systems on the Site were identified at the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department:
• May 1977 permit for new septic system at mobile Dome. The system utilizes a
1,200-gallon septic tank and two 90-foot leach lines.
• December 1990 permit for new septic system at mobile home. The system
utilizes a 1,200-gallon septic tank and three 100-foot leach lines.
These permits are included in Appendix 4.
Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
To determine the existing septic system usage in the area, our office counted septic
systems that exist within approximately four square miles surrounding the property. Air
photo imagery from GoogleEarth"m was used. Each building cluster on the photo was
assumed to have one septic system. A residential subdivision, the San Joaquin River
Club, exists to the immediate east of the Site. Including this subdivision, Live Oak
determined that there are approximately 90 septic systems per square mile in the
vicinity of the Site. Without the subdivision, the genera( septic density in the same area
is 2.5 systems per square mile.
The general area primarily consists of farmland with occasional rural residences. The
San Joaquin River Club is located to the immediate east, across Kasson Road, and the
New Jerusalem airport is located to the immediate west.
LOGE 1116 Page 2
