Additional Facilities
The following additional facilities were identified within one-quarter mile of the
Site:
• George's Service, 1600 W. Durham Ferry, approximately 470 feet south of
the Site. This facility, a former automotive repair and gasoline station, is a
leaking underground storage tank case undergoing active remediation. In
a December 2014 report, Ground Zero Analysis reported on the
installation of new vapor extraction wells at George's Service. Based on
the included maps of monitoring well locations, it does not appear that
contamination is suspected of having reached the subject Site. Assuming
that active remediation continues, the potential for contamination from this
facility to migrate to the Site should be minimal.
• New Jerusalem School, 31400 S. Koster, approximately 380 feet
southeast of the Site. According to GeoTracker, this case involved a spill
of gasoline to soil. The case was closed in 1999. Based on its status and
location, this case is not anticipated to have impacted the subject Site.
7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List dated June 18, 2014, as well as
the Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, Underground Storage
Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Site Mitigation FA, Site Mitigation RO, and
Local Oversight Program lists dated October 2014, for surrounding facilities of
concern. The following listed facilities were identified within one-quarter mile of
the Site:
• Trinkle & Boys (subject Site and adjacent land to west), 31244 S.
Highway 33 (Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, Site
Mitigation FA, Site Mitigation RO). Records for the once-contiguous
Trinkle and Boys property, 31244 South Highway 33, were reviewed at the
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and have been
discussed in Section 6.1.
• George's Service, 1600 W. Durham Ferry, approximately 470 feet south of
the Site, Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, Local Oversight
Program. This facility has been discussed in Section 7.1, above.
• New Jerusalem School, 31400 S. Koster, approximately 380 feet
southeast of the Site, Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List,
Local Oversight Program. This facility has been discussed in Section 7.1,
above.
LOGE 1506 10
