In the 1998 photo, the eastern three-quarters of the Site and surrounding field are open <br /> land; orchard exists on the western quarter. <br /> In the 2002 photo, the entire Site and surrounding field are planted with orchard. <br /> In the 2008 photo, a residence can be seen on the east side of the Site. Another <br /> residence can be seen to the south of the Site. <br /> These photos are included i Appendix 3 of this report. <br /> 4.0 SITE INSPECTION <br /> Live Oak inspected the site on November 28, 2011. Photographs of the Site are <br /> attached to this report as(Appendix Y. The Koster Road boundary of the Site was <br /> inspected, as well as the doyeway and residence. The remainder of the Site consists of <br /> almond orchard. The interior of the residence was not inspected. <br /> The Site appears to be almond orchard in good condition with a new residence located <br /> on its eastern side. A domestic well and propane tank were observed to the south of <br /> the residence. The surrounding properties were observed to be orchards and open <br /> agricultural land. <br /> 5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Property Owners <br /> James LaVelle was interviewed by telephone on November 30, 2011. He indicated that <br /> he and his wife Angela have owned the Site since 2001. The Site is currently an <br /> almond orchard; before that, it was used for growing row crops. The house on the Site <br /> was built two years ago. Mr. LaVelle was not aware of any fuel tanks, chemical storage, <br /> automotive maintenance activities, or other environmental hazards on the Site. He <br /> indicated that a few tires have been dumped along the roadway, but there have not <br /> been any other dumping incidents. He stated that the well was tested for drinking water <br /> quality at the time of installation; the water was found to be acceptable. <br /> LOGE 1133 Page 3 <br />
