The SWIS database contains an inventory of solid waste disposal facilities or landfills. These may be active or inactive facilities or open dumps that failed to meet RCRA Section 2204 criteria for solid waste landfills or disposal sites. ` The SWIS database was reviewed online (http://www.ciwmb.ca.gov/Landfills/) on September 9, 2003; the subject property did not appear on the SWIS database at this time. The SWIS database listed no sites within a one-quarter mile radius of the subject property. 3.1.8 Site Reconnaissance A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted prior to the compilation of this report. Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site .. visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. The eastern parcel of the property was observed to be recently tilled row crop land with irrigation ditches running along its eastern and northeastern boundaries. A drain sump for disposal of excess water was observed at the northeastern comer. The remainder of the property was observed to be apricot, almond, and walnut orchard, with the exception of the two developed areas. 12
