_ v a <br /> January 7,2004 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER LE03-354 <br /> • Two above-ground storage tanks within secondary containment are located on the subject <br /> property, one 3,000-gallon gasoline tank and one 12,000-gallon diesel tank. No leaks or <br /> stains were observed within the secondary containment. Several other, smaller above-ground <br /> tanks are also located on the property. <br /> r • A significant amount of debris exists on the property: inoperable tractors and trucks, tires, <br /> automotive batteries, drums, wood, plastic pipes, and miscellaneous inoperable farm <br /> equipment. <br /> • A chemical mixing area was identified to the east of the northernmost residence on the <br /> property. <br /> r <br /> • A drain sump for disposal of excess irrigation water was observed at the northeastern corner <br /> of the subject property. <br /> • Used chemical drums and jugs were observed to be stockpiled within a fenced area near the <br /> above-ground storage tanks. <br /> • Oil stains were observed on the soil within the storage areas for inoperable equipment. <br /> • Due to the age of the buildings on the property, asbestos and lead-based paints are most likely <br /> present. <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Potential Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> past uses of surrounding properties. <br /> 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> current uses of the surrounding properties. <br /> 14 12 <br /> r <br />
