THOMING PROPERTY Page No. 2 III . PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE In the north-east corner of the subject property, 1 . 5 acres is fenced off housing the barn and the mobile home. The remainder of the subject property is an apricot orchard. The apricot orchard was planted approximately 7 years ago. The property has belonged to the Thoming family since the 1930 's, and has been used to cultivate various row crops up until the apricot orchard was planted. IV. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE As indicated, there is an existing mobile home in the northeast corner of the subject property. The home is 6 years old and is utilizing a septic system. The system consists of a septic tank with shallow leach lines. There has been no problems with the system since installation. There are several neighbors that are in reasonably close proximity to the subject property. Two of these neighbors were able to be interviewed and this information is presented next: OWNER: Finton ADDRESS: 33969 S Koster Rd. LOCATION: Adjacent to the subject property, due north. AGE OF HOUSE: 12 years SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, utilizing a septic system with two shallow leach lines located on the east side of the house. The owner has had no problems with the system. OWNER: Bogetti ADDRESS: 34201 McGracken Rd. LOCATION: 1 . 5 miles southeast of the subject property. AGE OF HOUSE: 6 years SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, utilizing a septic system with two shallow leach lines located on the north side of the house. The owner has had no problems with the system. V. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING According to the local farmers, the depth to groundwater at this location is between 10 and 20 feet, no ground water was encountered in our 10 foot soil profile holes.
