This study was reviewed by Caltrans. Their comment <br /> letter,dated April 28,2008,acknowledges this study and makes two comments regarding Haul <br /> Route 3. These comments were addressed by the traffic safety memo included as Appendix B of <br /> this Final EIR, and by eliminating any turn movements onto SR 132. The letter from Caltrans and <br /> the transmittal letter from the State Clearinghouse are included in this Chapter. <br /> In a letter dated May 20,2008, LASER(represented by Theodore Franklin of Weinberg,Roger& <br /> Rosenfeld)notified the lead agency that its concern about the DEIR had been resolved given _ <br /> Centex's agreement to incorporate certain air quality measures,which are identified in the Final <br /> EIR. Although the commenter's concerns(comment letter code A through C)have been resolved, <br /> the County nonetheless includes LASER's comment letters of July 5,2006,and responds <br /> individually to each of the comments raised therein(see Chapter 3) <br /> 2.3 Comments <br /> The comments received are presented on the following pages.
