Indiscriminate and unmitigated demolition of structures containing ACMs and <br /> lead-based paint could create asbestos dust, lead paint chips and lead dust that could travel <br /> offsite and present an inhalation hazard for both construction workers and the surrounding <br /> public. In addition, collection and disposal ofACMs and lead paint debris by untrained <br /> personnel could similarly result in asbestos and lead paint dust emissions offsite. This would be <br /> a less-than-significant impact because all structure removal and demolition activities would <br /> comply with state,federal, and local requirements related to asbestos and lead-based paint <br /> work.
