3.Project Description — <br /> Dust Control — <br /> Sources of potential fugitive dust in the processing operation include: <br /> • Aggregate Plant — <br /> — Conveyor transfer points <br /> — Crushers - <br /> - Screens(dry) <br /> — Load out bunkers <br /> — Material being added to stockpiles via conveyor _ <br /> • Yard <br /> — Internal gravel roads - <br /> - Loading of delivery trucks <br /> • Concrete Batch Plant — <br /> — Conveyor transfer points <br /> — Loading of aggregate bins <br /> — Truck funnel(loading of ready-mix trucks) — <br /> • Asphalt Plant <br /> — Conveyor transfer points <br /> — Loading of aggregate bins <br /> The applicant will be required to obtain Permits to Construct and Permits to Operate from the <br /> SJVAPCD. A water truck will be used to spray all internal yard roads and stockpiles that are <br /> being used to load trucks.A bag house will be used on most crushers,dry screens, transfer points, <br /> and all plants to control airborne dust and emissions. <br /> Hours of Operations <br /> The plant facility's hours of operation for both excavation and processing will be 24 hours per <br /> day,6 days a week(Monday through Saturday) with maintenance on Sundays. — <br /> Portable Plant <br /> While the permanent plant is being constructed,a portable temporary plant would be used for a <br /> period of about two years to process approximately 500,000 tons per year of material. The <br /> portable plant will consist of the same type of equipment as the permanent plant; screens, — <br /> crushers,coarse and fine material washer, etc.The production of this portable plant will typically <br /> be much less than the permanent plant(approximately 300 to 400 tph).
