On the date of the field search no pesticides, herbicides, chemicals or fertilizers <br /> were found on the subject property. <br /> The overhead fuel dispensing tank was well maintained and no ground <br /> discoloration were noted due to spillages. <br /> Also the visual above ground property search did not reveal any vent pipes, <br /> excavated areas or other evidences of below ground contaminant sources. However,no <br /> below ground excavations were made as a part of the property search. <br /> Possible Septic Contamination: Existing San Joaquin County records of septic system <br /> permits in the immediate area of the subject property were reviewed. A total of nine(9) <br /> septic permits were reviewed. One of the permits was for the subject property and the <br /> other eight(8)permits were for other properties. <br /> The subject property permit was for installing two (2)pits each thirty-three (33) <br /> inches in diameter and twenty-five(25) feet deep. The soil type was not listed. <br /> Three (3)of the permits reviewed were for leach fields containing two(2)to three <br /> (3) leach lines varying from seventy(70)to one hundred(100) feet long. The soil types <br /> listed for these three (3) permits were as follows: Clay loam, loam, and adobe. <br /> Two (2)of the permits were for installing two(2) or three (3)leach lines, each <br /> forty(40) feet long with either thirty-three (33) or thirty-six(36) inch diameter pits, each <br /> twenty-five(25) feet deep at their ends. One (1)permit did not list the soil type but the <br /> other one (1) listed the soil type as clay. <br /> The three remaining permits were for installing two (2)to three (3) leach lines <br /> varying from forty(40)to sixty(60)feet long with sumps at their ends in three(3) sizes <br /> as follows: 2'x20'X10', 3'xl2'x12' and 5'x12'x8'.
