17700 Well 6/02/80 New Irrigation Well
" 1985 Replace check valve
17700 Liquid Waste 5/14/96 System#2 for outbuilding
17777 Liquid Waste 10/08/03 Perc Tests
" " 5/12/94 Add 40' &2 pits
17795 Liquid Waste 9/5/79 New septic system
18150 Liquid Waste 8/22/94 New septic installation
18333 Liquid Waste 5/27/03 Engr. Designed alternative
The system at 18333 was approved for a 2 bedroom residence and consisted of three leach lines.
Each line was 95' in length with a 42" x 25'pit at the end of each line.
Few residences exist in this area of Liberty Road. The Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, page
19, states: Where this unit is used for homesite development the main limitations are depth to the
very slowly permeable clay pan, depth to the hardpan, the high shrink-swell potential, and low
strength in the subsoil in areas of the San Joaquin soils and moderately slow or slow permeability
in areas of the Bruella soils. Onsite sewage disposal is difficult on the San Joaquin soils because of
the very slow permeability and the hardpan. San Joaquin soils are 20 to 40 inches deep to a
cemented hardpan.
GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION
The Map"Lines of Equal depth to Groundwater, Spring 1999" shows approximately 175 feet to
static water. The gradient is SW.
The poultry ranch to the west has in the past generated a tremendous volume of flies while
processing the turkey manure at the end of the growing season.
The existing well on the Enos site was tested by FarWest Labs, located in Riverbank. The
sampling was conducted by an employee of the Lab. A sheet is included showing a log of
sampling. No third party is involved in the sanpling process. The test results are as follows:
Nitrate(NO3) 5.1 mg/l DBCP <0.01 ug/1
The sample tested meets current California primary drinking water standards for NO3/DBCP.
A copy from the lab is included in this report.
2.
