..1 <br /> Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report—APN: 009-100-02—To create four(4)parcels containing <br /> 80 acres each within an existing 320 acres parcel <br /> to devote the land of the four(4)to agricultural pursuit in the immediate future as has <br /> been done in the past. The creation of the four(4)parcels will be as shown on the <br /> attached Tentative Parcel Map. The four(4)parcels are located in the east half of Section <br /> 33, Township 5 North, Range 8 East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian in San Joaquin <br /> County. <br /> ` (2)Past.Present and Proposed Future Uses Of The Project Site <br /> (2.1)Past And Present Uses Of The Subject Property The only portion of the subject <br /> property that does not have grape vines on it is an agricultural well located about midway <br /> into the property on the east side of a paved access road in the middle of the subject <br /> property in an east-west direction which provides access off of Liberty Road and a <br /> mobile home, another agricultural well, an equipment building and a equipment and <br /> vehicle storage area located the end of the paved access road terminating about three <br /> quarters of the way into the subject property in a north direction. These developments are <br /> shown on both the attached Tentative Parcel Map and the Project Site Map and Map <br /> Detail Sheet that are attached to and made an integral part of this report. <br /> ✓(2.2) Future Uses Of The Subiect Property: There are no immediate plans to <br /> discontinue the agricultural pursuit of growing grapes. However, as mentioned under <br /> Subiect above of this report,the property owner wishes to be in a position to sell any or <br /> all of the newly created four(4) parcels in either a developed or an undeveloped state in <br /> the future. <br /> (3) Identification Of All Past And Current Sources Of Contamination <br /> (3.1)Method Of Research: The methods used to research, investigate and to know the <br /> potential above and below ground sources of contamination at the project site has been a <br /> site reconn�ssance and survey,research and stu y San Joaquin County Assessor, <br /> Recordef;Environmental Health Department, and the Agricultural Commissioner's <br /> Office records. Also the University of California at Davis' web site was referred to in an <br /> effort to determine the common uses of pesticides and herbicides in producing grape <br /> crops✓ <br /> , (3.2) Site Reconnaissance And Survey: On September 9,2003 a property <br /> reconnaissance and survey search was made to determine if there were above ground fuel <br /> storage tanks, oil drums,kerosene, other petroleum products and/or other possible <br /> contaminant receptacles situate on the future four parcels, Parcel 1, Parcel 2, Parcel 3 and <br /> Parcel 4 sites, that could contribute to contamination. <br /> The conditions seen and noted are best described and recorded by the colored <br /> photographs I took. These photographs have been assigned either a number or a number <br /> accompanied by a capital letter and are contained in Appendix 1. The number assigned <br /> indicates the location the photograph was taken at and the capital letter denotes the <br /> direction being viewed.
