All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, <br /> walkways, approved outdoor storage areas, or other <br /> permanent facilities shall be landscaped. At a minimum, <br /> a ten (10) foot wide planting strip is required along <br /> adjacent streets. The strip shall be continuous except <br /> where crossed by driveways and walkways. (Section 9-- <br /> 1020.9{a} of the Development Title) <br /> 13. Outside storage of materials shall comply with the <br /> following ordinance (Section 9-1020.9{c} of the <br /> Development Title) Storage areas shall be screened as <br /> follows: <br /> (1) All storage materials and related activities shall <br /> be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet <br /> in height. Items stored within one hundred (100) <br /> feet of a dedicated street or residential zone <br /> shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above <br /> the adjacent screen; <br /> (2) Screening to enclose storage areas between <br /> adjoining side or rear property lines may be <br /> deleted by mutual agreement of the property owners <br /> involved; and <br /> (3) All exterior electrical cage enclosures and storage <br /> tanks shall be screened from view from access or <br /> adjacent streets and residential neighborhoods. <br /> 14 . Trash bins shall be kept in an enclosure with solid <br /> masonry walls on three sides and gated on the fourth <br /> side. <br /> 15. Front yard fencing greater than four (4) feet in height <br /> shall be constructed of woven wire; wrought iron, or <br /> similar transparent material, if within the front <br /> setback. <br /> 16. Security wire fencing, not to exceed two (2) feet in <br /> height, may be erected on top of required or permitted <br /> screening except for screening adjacent to planned or <br /> zoned residential areas. <br /> 17 . One freestanding sign shall be permitted and shall comply <br /> with Section 9-1710.4{a} {6} of the Development Title) <br /> 18 .
