KLEINFELDER
contained diesel fuel. The farmer also built a concrete catch box for an AST located in
the center of the site in the barn and residential area.
The culverts in the creek drain water from the agricultural land during the winter.
According to Mr. Dotinga no water from the dairy is diverted to the creek. The creek is
dammed and the water is used to irrigate the fields.
Larry Woltjer (orchard farmer) was interviewed on May 18, 2006. The southern
portion of the property has been orchard since 1995. Previous to this the property was
used to grow corn or oats. The burn area in the northern portion of the orchard is from
burning brush and wood clippings. The area is also used as a loading area. The
culverts/piping along the creek drain water from the orchards. The piping is for flood
drainage.
7.2. INTERVIEW WITH OCCUPANTS
See secton 7.1.
7.3. INTERVIEWS WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS
The San Joaquin Community Development Department website,
hftp://www.stocktongov.com/, was accessed on March 31, 2006.
