The portion of property around the house is now planted in an orchard. The remainder <br /> of the property is a rice field. Adjacent lands are relatively unchanged from the 1963 photograph,with <br /> a few more residences in the area. <br /> In the 1983 and 1993 photographs,the subject property,adjacent lands and the surrounding area remain <br /> relatively unchanged from the 1975 photograph. <br /> r <br /> In the 2002 photographs, the house and outbuildings remain on the east side of the property. The <br /> L portion of the property around the house is now grazing land. The remainder of the property is a rice <br /> field. Adjacent lands remain relatively unchanged form the previous photographs. <br /> These photographs are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses <br /> is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> L. <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, Escalon, <br /> L California,quadrangle map. Two 7.5-minute maps dated 1953 and 1968 were available at NOA, and <br /> one 7.5 minute map dated 1994 was available through Microsoft Terraservers. These maps are included <br /> in Appendix C of this report. <br /> L. In the 1952 map,the subject property is depicted as undeveloped land. Two residences are located on <br /> a small parcel to the north of the property. Lone Tree Road is located on the north side of the property, <br /> L across which are residences. Adjacent land to the south and east are undeveloped land,and to the west <br /> is a residence. 7 <br /> 7 <br /> L In the 1968 map,the subject property has a house on the east sid4with the to the north,beyond which <br /> are residences. To the south is undeveloped land, to the east is a residence, and to the west is a <br /> residence and large barns. <br /> �. In the 1994 map, no significant changes to the subject property and the surrounding area are shown. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> L <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> 1 from the property owner or key site manager of the property. A separate Environmental Questionnaire <br /> i. and Disclosure Statement was completed for each parcel by Mr. Alan Hofmann, one of the property <br /> owners and the son of the former property owners, on March 8, 2005.
