Hydrogeologv of Infection and Confining Zones Primary Injection Formation Injection shall be limited to the Azevedo member of the Moreno Formation and the Blewett member of the Panoche Formation (according to McMullin Ranch nomenclature) as the Primary Injection Formation provided that either of these formations are not USDWs. This interval occurs approximately between 4470 feet and 5100 feet below the ground surface. The Primary Injection Formation is confined by the Basal Garzas Shale member of the Panoche Formation (McMullin Ranch nomenclature) , also called Confining Zone B. This interval occurs approximately between 4400 feet and 4470 feet below the ground surface. Alternate Injection Formation Injection shall be limited to the Lower Lathrop member of the Panoche Formation (McMullin Ranch nomenclature) as the Alternate Injection Formation in the case that the Primary Injection Formation is a USDW. This interval occurs approximately between 8170 feet and 10, 170 feet below the ground surface. The Alternate Injection Formation is confined by the Upper Lathrop member of the Panoche Formation (McMullin Ranch nomenclature) , also called Confining Zone C. This interval occurs approximately between 7250 feet and 8170 feet below the ground surface. Injection Pressure Limitation Injection pressure at the wellhead shall not exceed a maximum which shall be measured so as to assure that the pressure in the injection zone during injection does not initiate new fractures or propagate existing fractures in the injection zone, whether that zone be the Primary or the Alternate Zone. In no case shall injection pressure initiate fractures in the confining zone or cause the movement of injection or formation fluids into an underground source of drinking water. The maximum injection pressure, measured at the wellhead, shall not exceed the results of the Hydrofracture Pressure Test performed after the well is drilled and completed and prior to any Injectivity Testing. 5
