Fuel Gas Compression System <br /> Natural gas will be supplied to the site at approximately <br /> 250 psig. Gas compressors will be installed to compress <br /> the fuel gas to 700 psig. A gas filter separator with a <br /> demister to remove liquids from the incoming gas will be <br /> installed. The gas will be metered by the gas supplier <br /> prior to delivery to the gas compressor. <br /> 4. Plant Coolinq Water System <br /> i <br /> I <br /> A plant recirculating cooling water system will provide <br /> cooling water to the various plant systems requiring <br /> cooling. These include the turbine and generator lube oil <br /> systems, the generator coolers, air compressors and fuel <br /> gas compressors. A cooling tower will be provided to cool <br /> and recirculate the water. This cooling tower is treated <br /> with EPA approved chemicals and is located in a remote <br /> section of the plant riot frequented by personnel . <br /> 5. Boiler Feedwater Chemical Treatment 5vstem <br /> Boiler feedwater will be treated with chemicals to remove <br /> residual oxygen and control pH. The chemical feed systems <br /> will consist of mix tanks, feed pumps and chemical piping <br /> to the boiler, drums. These chemicals are approved by the <br /> EPA. <br /> o. Storm Water Runoff <br /> The storm water runoff from the plant will be routed to an <br /> adjacent percolation pond. <br /> f . Electrical Systems, <br /> 1. 115kV Substation <br /> A 115kV high voltage substation containing a 13. 8/115kV <br /> transformer and protective breakers and devices will be <br /> provided in the cogeneration plant to control the delivery <br /> of electrical power- into the PG&E 1154::V system. The power <br /> delivered to PG&E will be metered in the substation. <br /> 2. Arax i l i ar v Power <br /> An auxiliary transformer will be installed to provide 480 <br /> volt service for the electrical systems within the <br /> i <br /> cogeneration plant. <br /> 3. Emergency Power System <br />
