Development services <br /> Memorandum <br /> IIP-92-25 <br /> Page 2 <br /> b. Landscaping: <br /> 1. A minimum 5-foot-wide planting strip is required <br /> along the frontage of Lower Sacramento Road. The <br /> strip shall be continuous except where it is <br /> crossed by driveways. This strip shall contain one <br /> tree for each 30 feet of frontage. <br /> a. All plant material within a fifteen-foot (151 ) <br /> triangle at the intersection of driveways and <br /> streets shall be no more than three (3) feet <br /> in height above curb level, except for trees <br /> which are trimmed so that no branches extend <br /> lower than six (6) feet above the curb level. <br /> (Section 9-3233 (h) ) <br /> 2 . The following landscaping is required in the open <br /> parking areas: <br /> a. A minimum five percent of the area must be <br /> landscaped. <br /> b. one tree is required for each 10 parking <br /> stalls or portion thereof. <br /> C. Parking requirements: <br /> 1. one hundred and sixty six (166) parking paces <br /> shall be provided. <br /> 2 . All parking stalls and driveway directions shall be <br /> delineated. <br /> 3 . All parking spaces, driveways, and maneuvering <br /> areas shall be paved and permanently maintained <br /> with asphalt or cement. Bumper guards shall be <br /> provided where necessary to protect adjacent <br /> structures or properties. (Section (9-3704 (a) ) <br /> 4 . Twenty-five percent of the required parking spaces <br /> may be compact stalls. <br /> a. Stalls must be a minimum 7-1/2 feet wide and <br /> 16 feet long. <br /> b. Each approved space must be individually <br /> designated as a compact space. <br />
