EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> There is an existing homesite located in the southwest corner <br /> of the property which will be located on the proposed Parcel 1. <br /> The homesite consists of 2 houses with surrounding garage, barns <br /> and storage sheds. Both houses are 40+ years old and are on septic <br /> systems that have shallow leach lines and dry wells. Other then <br /> periodic pumping of the septic tanks, there has been no problems <br /> with the systems since their installation 40+ years ago. <br /> The remaining 3 proposed parcels (Parcels 2, 3, and 4) will <br /> each have a potential future homesite on it. The homesites are <br /> located at the east end of each parcel, adjacent to Murphy Rd. The <br /> homesites will each utilize on site septic systems. <br /> There are two neighbors that are within reasonably close <br /> Proximity to the subject home sites. These neighbors were <br /> interviewed and a summary of that information is presented next: <br /> OWNER: Due <br /> ADDRESS: 14821 E Lone Tree Rd. <br /> LOCATION: Adjacent to southeast corner of property <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: 4 years <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, consists of septic tank and 2 leach lines. <br /> Have had no problems with the system since <br /> construction 4 years ago. <br /> OWNER: Schaapman <br /> ADDRESS: 15050 S Murray Rd. <br /> LOCATION: Southeast of property <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: 4 years <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, consists of septic tank and unknown number of <br /> leach lines. Have had no problems with the system <br /> since construction 4 years ago. <br /> V. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING <br /> According to the map of "Lines of Equal Depth to Water in <br /> Wells" published spring 1994 by the San Joaquin County Flood <br /> Control and Water Conservation District, the depth to groundwater <br /> at this location is between 50 and 70 feet. <br /> The private water well located next to the existing house on <br /> the proposed Parcel 1 was sampled August 17, 1994 and tested for <br /> the presence of nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP) .
