• The scale of the 1975 photo is such that it is difficult to determine the crop on the
Site. No significant changes are apparent.
In the 1998 photo, the Site appears to be fully planted with orchard, with the
exception of the building cluster at the southwest corner. An additional structure
(the trailer) can be seen in the building cluster at the southwest corner of the Site.
In the 2000 photo, a new house can be seen near the center of the Site; a
driveway leads from Highway 120 to the house.
In the 2004 photo, a shop can be seen to the north of the new house. The trailer
can no longer be seen in the building cluster at the southwest corner of the Site.
In the 2014 photo, it appears that the southern half of the Site has been
replanted with new orchard.
These photos are included as Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
Live Oak inspected the site on June 28, 2016. Photographs of the Site are
• attached to this report as Appendix 2. The perimeter of the Site was inspected,
as well as the field roads and the vicinity of the houses. It was not always
possible to inspect the ground surface due to the presence of objects and
vegetation.
The Site is an almond orchard crossed diagonally by a field road.
Near the center of the Site are a house, shop, shed, pergola, and dog kennel. A
storage container labeled "dangerous" is located between the shop and house; it
appeared to be securely closed and intact. The domestic well was located near
the dog kennel.
At the southwest corner of the Site are a house, barn, shed, carport, and pump
house. A few tires were noted near the house; however, it appears that these
may be planned for future use. A brush pile was noted to the north of the house.
One pole-mounted transformer was noted in this area near the western property
line; it was not labeled free of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Mailboxes with
the addresses of 18395, 18447, and 18449 East Highway 120 were noted near
the road.
An irrigation well is located at the eastern end of the field road crossing the Site.
A mobile fuel tank approximately 200 gallons in size was noted nearby as well; it
appears that this tank is used to power the pump.
•
LOGE 1612 3
