be at the complex at the some time, that could be 500 or more people and
their cars. We who live in that area have all seen or been involved in
accidents at the Enterprise, Victory and Sutliff intersections of Highway 120.
We are well aware of the dangerous drivers that frequent Highway 120 and
we know how the weekend traffic is. How many kids will be going to the
complex on bicycles, walking, or whatever? Do we want to see those same
little kids injured or maybe even killed because of some reckless driver from
the bay area that doesn't know our roads and how dangerous they can be.
Questions on site plan:
Why is a 6000 sq. ft. meeting and changing facility need for kids.
Kids usually wear their soccer clothes to the game just like baseball,
basketball and football kids do (non-school activities)
• Is there an underlying reason for that large of a facility? Do they plan on
renting it out for other uses?
Do other soccer/athletic fields have these buildings?
• If it is for weekend use why do they need lighted fields.
Kids soccer is normally over before nightfall and lights would seem to be
unnecessary
Main Counter proposals:
1 . Stop orokect and move, it to a non-aoriculturnl safer area
Secondary Counter proposal if project is granted
1 . NO-PASSING ZONE from Victory road to Sutliff Road
2. Turning lane for traffic
3. No parking on highway 120
4. 8 foot perimeter fencing for complex, (prevents side/rear entry)
5. No field night lighting
6. No rental of meeting facility
7. Restrict use to "Youths only", No semi-pro or adult activities
Thank you
Don Angle
(209) 838-3369 home phone
(209) 839-4368 work phone
