1 .4 . 6 Traffic and Transportation
The possibility that the proposed project expansion would have
an adverse impact upon traffic and transportation has been
investigated .
Analysis indicates that roadways serving the quarry are in good
to excellent condition, suitable for the additional truck
traffic . Because of the high volume of commercial truck
traffic on the adjacent freeways, no significant impacts or
adverse environmental changes will result from the project ' s
haultruck traffic . See Section 5 . 6 for additional details on
this issue .
Landmark Lathrop Group, LLC proposes to permit for an
anticipated average over the life of the quarry for 160
haultrucks per day .
1 . 4 . 7 Cultural Resources
The site has been significantly altered during recent
agricultural activities, and no prehistoric cultural resources
have been identified . Landmark Lathrop Group, LLC will attempt
to avoid disturbing any cultural resources which may be
discovered during the project . If disturbance of any resources
becomes necessary in order to continue quarrying and processing
activities , Landmark Lathrop Group, LLC will delay such
disturbing until the resource has been surveyed , recorded , and
mitigated in accordance with County Community Development
Department requirements .
1 .4 . 8 Socioeconomics
Landmark Lathrop Group, LLC
6 - February 3, 2000
