L u <br /> LNovember 4, 2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05135A <br /> L Serval pole-mounted transformers were observed in front of the adjacent properties on Oro Avenue. <br /> The transformers appeared be relatively new and no staining was observed. No stickers were observed (3.5) <br /> on the transformers. <br /> i <br /> L Several piles of debris were observed in the rear yard area of the subject property. Two 55-gallon <br /> drums,six car tires,a car battery,an empty one quart oil container,mattresses,a shopping car,and large <br /> amounts of household trash and construction debris were observed at the subject property. The 3•S� <br /> L ground surface was littered with debris at the time of the site visit; consequently, any soil staining <br /> present beneath these piles on the property would not have been detectable. <br /> LSurrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north and south <br /> of the subject property are duplexes. To the east and west of the property are single family residences. <br /> L3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> L Due to the age of the residence,lead based paint and/or asbestos containing material may have <br /> been used within the onsite structure. <br /> j The property prior to the 1960s was par of a larger agricultural parcel,and chemicals used for <br /> L agricultural proposes may have been applied. <br /> 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> Lcurrent uses of the site, except for the following. <br /> • The household waste left onsite may attract rodents and insects. <br /> • The current household debris,tires,drums,and battery may leach hazardous chemicals into the <br /> subsurface,at the time of the inspection,no staining was apparent near these locations. <br /> I <br /> �. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> L No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> identified from past uses of surrounding properties,except for the following: <br /> • Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past;agricultural chemicals may <br /> V, have been applied to these properties. <br /> L <br /> 9 <br /> V <br /> I <br /> L <br />
