L <br /> L November 4,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05135A <br /> 2.2 Aerial Photographs <br /> L <br /> Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed <br /> L. at the San Joaquin County Surveyors Office in Stockton,California.' One additional photo,dated 2002, <br /> was obtained from Microsoft Terraserver.' <br /> L In the 1937 photo, the subject property appears to be part of a larger field used for agricultural - <br /> purposes. Agricultural land with scattered rural residences is apparent to the east and south of the <br /> subject property. West and north appear to be single family residences on mostly half-acre lots. <br /> LIn the 1952 photo, the subject property and the property to the south appear barren. Residential <br /> housing can be seen surrounding the subject property. Franklin High School is present southeast of the <br /> subject property. <br /> L <br /> In the 1963 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity otherwise appear relatively unchanged <br /> Lfrom the previous photo. The interchange has been built from Fremont Street to Highway 99. <br /> In the 1975 photo,the subject property and lots to the immediate south of the subject property have 2- t <br /> been developed with residential housing. The immediate vicinity otherwise remains relatively <br /> r unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> In the 1983 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity appear relatively unchanged from the <br /> L previous photo. <br /> L In the 2002 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity appear relatively unchanged from the <br /> previous photo. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> L limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> L2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S.Geological Survey,Stockton East, <br /> California,quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1968 photorevised 1987 was available at NOA, <br /> L and one 7.5 minute map dated 1989 was available through Microsoft Terraserver. In addition,a U.S. <br /> Geological Survey,Manteca,California 15 minute quadrangle map dated 1952 was reviewed. <br /> I <br /> L In the 1952, 1987 and 1989 maps, the subject property is depicted as a portion of the urban CZ <br /> development of Stockton.
