Scannavino Property Page 13 of 16 Our Project Number: LES080581 November 25, 2008 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination No a ve- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified fr past uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals, including aluminum phosphide, bifenthrin, chloropyrifos, diazinon, hydrogen cyanamide, iprodione, lambda cyhalothrin, methidathion, methyl bromide and paraquat dichloride, known RUPs, have been applied to the subject property. • Structures were located near the northwest corner of the property. 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination Noa ve- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified fro current uses of the site, except for the following: • Agricultural chemicals continue to be applied on the property. • The residence on the subject property was constructed in 1968. Lead-based paints and asbestos-containing materials may be present. • Five pole-mounted transformers were observed on the subject property. • Two containers of fluid were observed near the well. • The subject property is currently used as a land application site for Cherokee Freight line treated wastewater. As of June 2008, nitrate as N levels exceed the MCL of 10 mg/I. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination o abo - or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified ast uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: • Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past; agricultural chemicals may have been applied to these properties. • The address of 5279 N. Cherokee Lane was on the LOP and Site Mitigation list. 3.5 _ urrent Off-Site Sources of Contamination Noabo e- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified fro urrent uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: • Surrounding properties are used for agriculture; agricultural chemicals may be applied to these properties. • Surrounding properties to the north, south, east and west of the property are used as a land application area for Cherokee Freight Lines treated effluent. Analytical results for nitrate as N in MW-1, located east of the subject property, were reportedly above the 10 g/ml MCL.
