Cotta Property Page 7 of 12 <br /> Our Project Number: LES080021 <br /> March 28, 2008 <br /> 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on March 11, 2008. <br /> Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. <br /> Observations made during the site visit are summarized in the following table: <br /> Summary of Site Visit Observations <br /> Site Visit Observations <br /> Subject Property <br /> Current Use of Property The property consists of four parcels. All parcels are used for <br /> agriculture. The addresses of 10301, 10407 were displayed on <br /> the mailboxes and a wooden post located on Peltier Road. The <br /> address of 9020 was also posted on the mailboxes. The <br /> property is currently used for agriculture (vineyards and grain <br /> crops) and contains a residence, shop buildings, farm equipment <br /> and supply storage yard. Much of the farm supplies appeared to <br /> be stored on pallets with the exception of some tires, concrete <br /> and plastic pipe and large farm equipment. A pump facility was <br /> located on the north side of the property. <br /> Evidence of Past Uses of None observed <br /> Property? <br /> Odors? None observed <br /> Pools of Liquid? None observed <br /> Electric or hydraulic equipment Seven pole-mounted transformers were observed on the <br /> likely to contain polychlorinated property. No leaks were observed. <br /> biphenyls (PCBs)? <br /> Storage tanks? Two 1000 gallon fuel tanks (1 diesel, 1 gas) were surrounded by <br /> a secondary containment unit. One 350 gallon AST containing <br /> diesel and one 55 gallon tank containing motor oil were located <br /> at the same area but were not within secondary containment. <br /> An additional 350 gallon AST which was apparently empty was <br /> also on the property. <br /> Drums or other containers? Several 55 gallon drums were observed at the storage yard and <br /> three large drums located on the farm equipment were also <br /> observed.
