None observed.
Electric or hydraulic equipment Two pole mounted transformers were observed on the eastern site
likely to contain polychlorinated boundary and two pole mounted transformers were observed on the
biphenyls(PCBs)? western boundary. Staining or evidence of release was not
observed near the transformers.
Storage tanks? One active unlabeled 1,000-gallon diesel AST was observed
southeast of Shop 2. One inactive unlabeled 1,000-gallon AST was
observed west of Shop 3. The USTs were not stored within
secondary containment. Staining or evidence of release was not
observed near the ASTs. Mr. Taylor indicated the active AST
contains diesel and the inactive AST formerly contained diesel but is
currently empty.
Drums or other containers? Numerous containers of 5-gallons or greater were observed in Shop
1 and Shop 2. Petroleum hydrocarbon storage including new oil
drums and waste oil containers were observed primarily in Shop 1.
Pesticide and herbicide storage was observed primarily in Shop 2.
Approximately fourteen empty 5-gallon containers were observed on
the west side exterior of Shop 2.
