CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. 1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code 2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 503.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. 3) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. 4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, section 906.
