GP-99-5; ZONE <br /> RECLASSIFICATION APPLICATION NO. ZR-99-5 AND USE PERMIT <br /> APPLICATION NO. UP-99-12 OF PAUL VAZ ETAL. (C/O HOWARD <br /> SELIGMAN) <br /> -------- - ---------------------------------------- <br /> The applicants have submitted the above referenced applications to change the General Plan <br /> and zoning designations' of two parcels totaling approximately six acres from General <br /> Agriculture (A/G and AG-40) to Truck Terminal (I/T and I-T) to permit a Use Permit Application <br /> for the expansion of an existing truck terminal to include twenty-three truck spaces, a truck <br /> wash, a 24,000 allon fuel island, and a caretaker residence as shown on eh an submitted <br /> June 10, 1999. The project is ocated on the south side of Peltier Road, approximately 650 feet <br /> east o -to Route 99, north of Lodi. <br /> These items are scheduled to be heard by the Planning Commission on August 5, 1999. The <br /> Community Development Department has reviewed the proposed General Plan Amendment, <br /> Zone Reclassification, and Use Permit and will be recommending that the Planning <br /> Commission forward the General Plan Amendment and Zone Reclassification and Use Permit <br /> to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of approval. <br /> Truck Terminal Development and Locational Criteria (pplV-33,34) <br /> The General Plan Industrial Development Chapter contains the following Specific Development <br /> and Locational Criteria for truck terminal areas. In order to make the required "Basis for <br /> General Plan Amendment", the following Development and Locational Criteria must be <br /> satisfied: <br /> (1) Truck terminals shall be considered for designation on the General Plan 2010 Map <br /> only when a specific development proposal has been submitted; <br /> ■ The designation is the result of a specific development proposal to expand an <br /> adjacent truck terminal facility. <br /> (2) Truck terminals shall be outside of the path of urban development for the planning <br /> period of the General Plan; <br /> • The site is located in an A/G area outside of the path of any future urban <br /> development. <br />
